Where is the produce grown?

Products are grown at Adam's Heirlooms farm in Mishicot, WI. We will occasionally partner with other local farms that follow similar growing practices in Manitowoc & Brown counties.

Are you Organic?

We are not certified organic.  We use sustainable, natural growing practices.  We do not use chemicals on our farm for weed or bug control, instead we find other methods of control & will continue to do so to provide your family with healthy, naturally grown produce.

What are my responsibilities as a Farm Basket Member?

You are responsible to pick up your share each week from the designated location during the pick up time-frame.  Or for home delivery, you are responsible for leaving a cooler out on the designated day, for us to deliver to your home.

If you cannot pick your share or won't be home to receive your delivery, please arrange for someone else to pick up it up for you.   You are responsible for explaining the pick up location and procedures to your substitute.
We take food safety seriously, taking all appropriate food safety measures during harvesting and post-harvest handling.  For your added protection, please wash your produce before enjoying.
Contact us with any changes to your mailing address, email address, phone number, change to pick location, any problems of concerns you may have with your orders.

What if I want to change pick up locations or get home delivery one week?

If you wish to change your pick up to another location you must contact Adam's Heirlooms 24 hours in advance by texting at 920-860-9779. We will do our best to accomodate the requested change.

What if I can't pick up my farm basket one week?

If you cannot pick your farm basket or won't be home to receive your delivery, please arrange for someone else to pick up it up for you.   You are responsible for explaining the pick up location and procedures to your substitute.

If you can not find someone else to enjoy your farm basket, then you must contact Adam's Heirlooms at least 48 hours in advance by texting at 920-860-9779.

When is the produce harvested?

We generally harvest between 24-48 hours before your scheduled pick up or delivery to ensure your family is recieving the freshest products possible. Our CSA Farm Basket members receive first priority of the harvest. After filling our CSA Farm Baskets, the remainder of our produce is sold at farmer's market and to retail & wholesale customers.

Will I get the same items every week?

No, we promise to do our best to provide you with a varied yet bountiful share each week.  The diversity of the produce will vary from week to week and month to month as we harvest those products that are in season each week.

What happens if you have a crop failure?

Despite our best efforts extreme weather, insects, or other productions factors can affect availability of crops.  In the unlikely event of a crop failure we will first compensate by filling your share with other crops from our farm or partnering with another local farm. However if a large scale crop failure occurs we may not be able to deliver as great of a diversity of products some weeks.
